ORT Day - 19 March 2024
ORT Day is an annual global celebration of the ORT network – connecting students, teachers, alumni and friends of ORT to come together and celebrate our mission; to prepare people and communities for meaningful, self-sufficient futures.
The theme this year for ORT Day is Unity.
Join us to celebrate the power of the united global ORT network and the strength of the Jewish people. See below for a list of ORT Day activities on how your school can get involved.
ORT Day Quiz
Battle it out and challenge your ORT knowledge at the much-loved annual ORT Day Quiz.
Tuesday 19 March, 3pm (GMT)
The quiz is open to all ORT students, teachers, parents, alumni, professionals, and supporters. You can take part as an individual or as a team.
You will need the Quiz Pack to prepare for the quiz. Download your version below:

The winning team or individual will win $150. (The prize is only available to ORT students).
Registration is essential by Friday 15 March.
We will be using zoom to facilitate the quiz so you must register with an email address that is connected to your zoom account for security purposes.

Unity and Strength for Israel: In Conversation with Meira Cowland
Join us live on 19 March at 14.15 (GMT) to hear from Meira.
Meira is a social and political commentator with a knack for simplifying complex ideas for every audience. She is the go-to voice for accurate and insightful Israeli news coverage for her +35K Instagram followers and a sought-after public speaker about the reality on the ground and behind the scenes in Israel. Having worked with some of the biggest names in the political and influencer industry, Meira offers an honest, authentic, and fresh perspective on the issues that matter most in our society.
The session is open to all ORT students, teachers, parents, alumni, professionals, and supporters. You can take part as an individual or as a team.

Social Media Competition
What does unity mean to you? We challenge you to create and post an Instagram reel or TikTok on the theme of ‘Unity’ to be posted on 19 March 2024.
The winning Instagram reel or TikTok will win $150 (Open to ORT students only).
To enter the competition, you must follow and tag @ortlife on Instagram or @ortlife on Tik Tok and must use the hashtag #ortday.
