Ukraine | Bila Tserkva Educational Complex “Mizva 613” 

Founded in 2000, the school started as a kindergarten and primary school with a Jewish component. One year later it opened a secondary school as well.  

The school joined the ORT Ukraine network in 2019. Based in the Kyiv region, Bila Tserkva Educational Complex “Mizva 613” provides education for almost 200 students. The classes have a mix between regular content in Ukrainian language and Jewish components. 

Mizva 613 is involved in a number of unique educational projects, including STEAM courses, natural sciences, robotics and more. Using the latest information technology resources, it has become a unique institution providing an atmosphere of cooperation, empathy and creativity. 

The school is also home to a museum of the city’s Jewish community and cultural programs.
