ORT Cuba hosts a range of programs benefiting the country’s Jewish and non-Jewish citizens.

These include the country’s first permanent Holocaust exhibition, a center providing training and primary services for senior citizens, and a range of computer training, educational, and cultural activities for young and old.

ORT activities in Cuba began in 1943, when a school was opened to provide educational support for newly-arrived refugees. The school closed at the end of the war but, two years later, ORT opened a vocational training center that closed after the 1959 revolution.
