Until 2022 ORT was active in Belarus through two KesherNet centres, located outside the country’s capital, Minsk.

Until 2022 ORT was active in Belarus through two KesherNet centres, located outside the country’s capital, Minsk.

More than 1,300 people, mainly women, received vocational training at the centers in Gomel and in Polotsk. A wide range of computer training courses provided support to unemployed women, disabled people and the elderly, as well as to younger students.

Other courses provided skills and guidance for job searching and employability, as well as basic training in the use of modern means of communication. The courses have helped hundreds of people to find jobs.

Spain
Spain is home to two ORT affiliated schools, together bringing more than 700 students to our network.
India
Established in 1960, ORT India has provided vocational training to the community from its Mumbai base, serving people from a range of backgrounds from preschool to adulthood.
Russia
Russia is the birthplace of ORT. The organization was founded in 1880 in St. Petersburg to provide Russian Jews with employable skills as a way out of poverty.
