Bringing sustainability and systems thinking into the classroom. The issues and challenges of sustainability cannot be reduced to mere pieces or problems that can be tackled as if they were unconnected to the rest of the world. Sustainability challenges are interconnected and the linkages are often invisible to our eyes and minds. Our young people need new skills and values to make informed decisions, and thus we need to find simple models and approaches to help us understand and address this complexity in more intuitive ways that both children and adults can easily grasp and relate to.
