Allison Weinger is a seasoned organizational leader whose career has been defined by a rare combination of operational rigor, strategic vision, and a lifelong commitment to education.
As Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Staff of World ORT, Allison is the connective tissue of the organization, ensuring day-to-day operations run with precision while keeping the U.S. mission in close alignment with World ORT’s global strategy.
Her portfolio spans operational leadership, strategic planning, organizational development, and executive coordination, all in service of an institution she knows from every angle. When ORT America faced a pivotal moment of transition, Allison was elected to lead as CEO, steadying the organization and helping chart its path forward.
Before joining World ORT, Allison spent more than a decade in higher education administration at two of the country’s most respected institutions: New York University and Teachers College, Columbia University. There, she built donor engagement programs from the ground up and led initiatives focused on public sector innovation, with a particular passion for expanding educational opportunity in public schools.
Her commitment to education is more than professional. It’s personal. Early in her career, Allison lived in Italy, where she taught English and developed the global perspective that continues to shape her leadership today.
Allison holds a Bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University and a Master’s degree from New York University.
