Anna Piaza

Anna Piaza lives in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, and studies at Chernivtsi Lyceum “ORT” No.15.  

She is one of the top students at her school and has participated in – and won – numerous contests and competitions. She is a person with initiative and often helps with the preparations for different events at her school.  

Anna enjoys drawing, photography, dancing, and reading books. This year, she is taking part in one of World ORT’s key programs, the Young Entrepreneurship Program (YEP). She is very grateful for having been given the opportunity to attend the international World ORT Digital Skills Academy, which was held in Bulgaria in 2025. Anna believes she can pursue photography as a career. 

Arsenii Horbachenko is a final-year student at the Schreiber Family Corporate Lyceum in Bila Tserkva, Ukraine. He is interested in digital technologies and was a participant of the international World ORT Digital Skills Academy in Bulgaria in 2025. 

Arsenii is actively involved in school life and is a prize winner of Olympiads in English and Hebrew. He is also the author of the book Urban Toponyms on the Local History Pages of the Old City of Bila Tserkva and a co-author of research works, including Righteous People of Bila Tserkva and The Mitsva Charity Movement. He is also a prize winner of a business idea competition focused on developing youth initiatives in his city and a participant of the intellectual game “What? Where? When?” (2026) during Hanukah.  

Since 2020, Arsenii has been a member of the Jewish youth club and, between 2024 and 2025, he served as the head of the “KADIMA” Jewish youth club. 

He is interested in web development and website design. In his free time, he goes to the gym and swims. Arsenii also has experience in implementing his own business project, “Ohel-Bari,” in the field of healthy nutrition. His development is focused on digital skills and combining technology with modern education and business. 

Dr. Tetyana Lyhomyna, Head of Inclusive Resource Center No. 13 in the Dnipro district of Kyiv, holds a PhD in Psychology and is an art therapist. 

At Inclusive Resource Center No. 13, Tetyana manages all areas, including planning the organization of diagnostic and corrective work for children with special needs, and establishing effective interaction between Inclusive Resource Center and Lyceum #141 “ORT” Kyiv, which also caters for children with special needs.  

Before joining Inclusive Resource Center No. 13, Tetyana worked as a psychologist at different schools in Kyiv and as a Senior Teacher at the Department of Preschool and Elementary Education of Borys Grinchenko KU IPPO. 

Yuliia Pavlova is a Specialist Consultant at Inclusive Resource Center No. 13 in the Dnipro district of Kyiv, and her mission is to help children find inner peace and strength even in difficult times. 

Yuliia holds a bachelor’s degree in medical psychology from the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management. After graduation, Yuliia worked at a school for four years, during which time she learned to listen to every child and understand their fears and joys. 

In 2023, Yuliia became a certified specialist in Hibuki therapy. Now she has “the gentlest hugs in the world” in her arsenal, which help children to overcome anxiety and stress. 

Thanks to a psychological project, she is able to conduct sessions with younger students that incorporate elements of art therapy; Yuliia and the children draw their dreams, create collages, and build worlds where every child feels like a superhero. 

Yuliia believes that every child has the right to a happy childhood, and she can be a guide on this journey.  

Royi Yablonchik is an Educational Psychologist with a special interest in the psychology of sport, building mental and emotional resilience, and providing the psychological tools needed to deal with anxiety and stressful situations. 

Royi completed 24 years of service as a high-ranking officer in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Royi holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, a master’s degree in communication and new media, and a master’s degree in social psychology. He has recently completed an intensive course in educational psychology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. 

Yuliia Tkachuk was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, and in 2009 started studying at the ORT school there. After graduating in 2020, she enrolled at one of Ukraine’s leading universities, the Educational and Research Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

In 2024, Yuliia started her master’s degree at the same institution. Around this time, she also began working as a PR Manager at ORT Ukraine. and took on the role of Hebrew teacher at Lyceum #141 “ORT” Kyiv. 

Yuliia currently resides in Kyiv, where she continues to build her professional career and academic expertise. 

Jonathan Boyd is a social scientist and policy analyst specializing in contemporary Jewish life and antisemitism. He is an Honorary Research Fellow at University College London (UCL), and the Executive Director of the Institute for Jewish Policy Research (JPR), an independent research center and think-tank providing data and policy insight on contemporary Jewish issues for organizations working to support Jewish life in the UK and across Europe. 

Jonathan holds a doctorate in education from the University of Nottingham and degrees in Modern Jewish History from UCL. He has held senior research and policy roles in the UK, Europe, Israel and North America, including with the JDC International Centre for Community Development and the Jewish Agency for Israel. Jonathan was Academic Director of the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights’ landmark surveys of Jewish experiences of antisemitism in 2012 and 2018 and currently directs the first European Commission survey of antisemitic attitudes across the EU. His work is widely published and regularly cited in policy, academic, and public debates.
