Dov Ben-Shimon

Dov Ben-Shimon is the Chief Executive Officer of World ORT.

He is a veteran of more than 30 years serving Israel and the Jewish world. From 2014 to 2024 Dov served as Executive Vice President & Chief Executive Officer of the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ, one of the largest Jewish Federations in North America. He subsequently the CSS, the national Jewish Defense and Security agency, as interim CEO, before arriving at ORT in November 2025.

Prior to joining Federation in September 2014, he served as Director of Strategic Partnerships at the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, an international Jewish rescue and relief organization. Previously, Dov was Major Gifts Officer at the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, Director of Resources for the Israeli Reform Movement in Jerusalem, Chargé d’Affaires (Deputy Ambassador) at the Israeli Embassy in Luanda, Angola, and assistant spokesman for Foreign Minister Shimon Peres.

Born in England, Dov moved to Israel at the age of 18. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in International Relations from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He served as an Air Force rescue medic and Infantry combat medic in the Israel Defense Forces.

Dov has traveled extensively to Jewish communities in dozens of countries, and has taught communal leadership priorities, development, and community building to communities from Uzbekistan to Cuba, and from Ukraine to Hungary.

Allison Weinger

Allison Weinger is a seasoned organizational leader whose career has been defined by a rare combination of operational rigor, strategic vision, and a lifelong commitment to education.

As Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Staff of World ORT, Allison is the connective tissue of the organization, ensuring day-to-day operations run with precision while keeping the U.S. mission in close alignment with World ORT’s global strategy.

Her portfolio spans operational leadership, strategic planning, organizational development, and executive coordination, all in service of an institution she knows from every angle. When ORT America faced a pivotal moment of transition, Allison was elected to lead as CEO, steadying the organization and helping chart its path forward.

Before joining World ORT, Allison spent more than a decade in higher education administration at two of the country’s most respected institutions: New York University and Teachers College, Columbia University. There, she built donor engagement programs from the ground up and led initiatives focused on public sector innovation, with a particular passion for expanding educational opportunity in public schools.

Her commitment to education is more than professional. It’s personal. Early in her career, Allison lived in Italy, where she taught English and developed the global perspective that continues to shape her leadership today.

Allison holds a Bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University and a Master’s degree from New York University.

Allison Baumwald

Allison Baumwald has more than 20 years of fundraising experience, primarily with The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore, where she led the Annual Campaign raising over $30 million annually, along with Women’s Philanthropy, Major Gifts, Business and Professionals affinity groups, and several special campaigns.

Allison joined World ORT in January 2026 as its Global Chief Development Officer. Prior to joining ORT, she served as Chief Development Officer of the Pikesville Armory Foundation, a new non-profit transforming a historic military property into an arts-infused community hub focused on connection, recreation, green space, and economic development.

A Detroit native, Allison began her career at the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit in the Israel and Overseas department. She has a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan and an MBA in non-profit management and MA in Jewish Communal Leadership from Brandeis University’s Heller Hornstein Program. 

She now lives in Baltimore with her husband, Adam, and their two daughters, both of whom attend Jewish day school.  

Dahlia Fisher

Dahlia Fisher is the Chief Marketing Officer for World ORT, ORT America, and World ORT Kadima Mada, joining in 2026.

She leads the integration of our global marketing and communications efforts, ensuring that our mission and impact are expressed with clarity, cohesion, and resonance across all markets.

Dahlia brings more than 20 years of experience leading strategic marketing and communications initiatives across non-profit and cultural institutions. Her background reflects a rare combination of analytical rigor and narrative sophistication – helping mission-driven organizations translate purpose into engagement and measurable growth.

Most recently, she served as Managing Director of Marketing and Communications for the Jewish Cleveland Federation and previously as Director of External Relations for the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage. In these roles, she championed a new era of experiential and digital initiatives, transforming how audiences engaged with organizational missions both in person and online – expanding reach and deepening connections through storytelling.

A Pushcart Prize-nominated memoirist, Dahlia holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Wilkes University, along with an MA in Communications and a BA in Theatre.

Hadas Grumet

Hadas Grumet acts as joint CEO of World ORT Kadima Mada and as Chief Finance Officer of both World ORT and World ORT Kadima Mada.

Prior to her roles at Kadima Mada, Hadas held several senior finance positions, including Director of Finance and Treasury at Strauss and CFO and Treasurer of the group of subsidiaries of the IDE Technologies Group Ltd.

As CFO she manages a global finance team based in both Israel and London. She also oversees the development and implementation of all major projects and partnerships for World ORT Kadima Mada and the implementation of the organization’s short and long term strategy.

Hadas was born in the US, moved to Israel as an infant, and is fluent in both English and Hebrew. She holds a BA in Accounting and Business from Tel Aviv University and the College of Management and Academic Studies, and a CPA License (Israel).

Hadas is married, with an adult daughter and son. She is a grandmother of one.

Vladimir Dribinskiy

An educator and engineer by training, Vladimir started his career at ORT in 1992 as the first Director of ORT St Petersburg after ORT re-established its presence in the place where the organization first began in Tsarist Russia in 1880.

After joining the ORT team at the London administrative offices in 2002, Vladimir has been responsible for many educational projects and their implementation across the ORT network and in operational countries. As a team leader, Vladimir participated in a number of projects related to STEM in education as well as to Jewish Heritage.

Vladimir is married with two children and two grandchildren.

Niamh Cordeiro

Niamh Cordeiro has been with World ORT since 1998 and is the lead professional in charge of all aspects of Board engagement and relations. 

She initially joined the International Co-operation department working as a Project Co-ordinator, before subsequently managing the Governing Bodies Unit.  Here, she handled all aspects of Board liaison and governance, including the planning and supervision of all annual Governing Bodies meetings.

She has travelled extensively with the organisation, managing events and visiting ORT programs in more than 15 countries.   

Niamh has a BA in Modern Languages from Liverpool John Moores University. Originally from Northern Ireland, she now lives in London with her husband and two children.
