Our World ORT Mensch of the Month is Lana Dolgopolova, our International Programs Coordinator.
Originally from Vilnius, Lithuania, and now based in London, Lana is a proud alumna of the ORT School Vilniaus Šolom Aleichemo ORT gimnazija. Her journey from ORT student to World ORT professional beautifully reflects a valued tradition: former ORT students returning to contribute their talents, experience and commitment to our global organization.
Since joining the World ORT team in London in December 2023, Lana has played an important role in supporting programs and projects across FSU [Former Soviet Union] countries.
Her work includes coordinating regional program and network events, including the World ORT National Directors’ Forum, contributing to proposals and donor reports, and helping communicate the impact of ORT’s work to partners and supporters, including through close collaboration with World ORT’s fundraising team.
With a BSc in International Politics and Sociology from City, University of London, and an MSc in International Development from the University of Amsterdam, Lana brings strong academic expertise, international experience and multilingual skills to her role.
Through her warmth, professionalism and dedication, Lana helps connect local ORT teams with the wider international network.
