Prizes are awarded in two age categories – 14-16 years and 17-19 years – and submissions are judged by a panel of educators, and non-STEM professionals.

The judges rate the videos according to the students’ communication skills, their ability to share their passion for STEM and to serve as role models for other students, as well as the quality and accuracy of the STEM content.

Through their participation in the project, students gain a deeper understanding of their subject and the process of planning and developing their ideas into well-structured presentations.

“The awards enable students to develop their skills in scientific research, collaborative work and public speaking, challenging them to express their creativity in a STEM context.”
