World ORT’s annual Jewish Educators’ Seminar encourages sharing within the network but also showcases the latest developments in the fields of Jewish and Israel education. This serves to enrich ORT students’ formal and informal Jewish education to help young people to engage with their heritage and identity.
This annual four-day seminar for Jewish educators aims to reinvigorate the Jewish experience in ORT schools. It also provides an opportunity to develop a network of international peers with whom to exchange ideas and share best practices. The event program includes lectures, workshops and classroom activities alongside rich cultural and educational experiences.
In previous years, the diverse range of issues covered has included exploring Jewish education in a post-October 7 world; incorporating art, music, cookery and film into Jewish education, and providing delegates with training on change management.
